Has anyone else had problems with their Ionic after updating to the latest firmware? I updated on Friday and the battery started draining immediately. I have had to recharge every 2 hours since and now the device will not track steps, heart rate, etc. I had done every possible troubleshooting attempt including a factory reset but the sensors are now shot and do not work.
So, a perfectly good device on Friday, a paper weight by Friday night and Fitbit offers a discount on a new device. If a friend hit my watch with a hammer, I would expect an offer to replace. When Fitbit hit mine with a virtual hammer, that is my problem to deal with.
Anyone else in the same boat?

Did you do the latest firmware update? That killed my Ionic. It no longer tracks steps, heart rate, etc.

Did you do the most recent firmware update? That killed mine in a similar way. I can still charge mine, but it drains the battery in about 2 hours and no longer tracks steps, heart rate, etc.

Did you update the firmware recently? That is the source of the problem for me. Mine is now dead.

This is a problem with the new firmware from what I can tell. I updated on Friday and started using the new SpO2 clock face. My battery was dropping like a stone. I saw something saying that this clock face may drain the battery faster so I switched clock faces. That didn't help. The drain continued and nothing I have done or Fitbit support has done has helped. Their answer is a discount to buy a new device after their update ruined a bunch of good devices.
May be time to vote with our feet.
