Has anyone else had problems with their Ionic after updating to the latest firmware? I updated on Friday and the battery started draining immediately. I have had to recharge every 2 hours since and now the device will not track steps, heart rate, etc. I had done every possible troubleshooting attempt including a factory reset but the sensors are now shot and do not work.
So, a perfectly good device on Friday, a paper weight by Friday night and Fitbit offers a discount on a new device. If a friend hit my watch with a hammer, I would expect an offer to replace. When Fitbit hit mine with a virtual hammer, that is my problem to deal with.
Anyone else in the same boat?

Best AnswerThis is a problem with the new firmware from what I can tell. I updated on Friday and started using the new SpO2 clock face. My battery was dropping like a stone. I saw something saying that this clock face may drain the battery faster so I switched clock faces. That didn't help. The drain continued and nothing I have done or Fitbit support has done has helped. Their answer is a discount to buy a new device after their update ruined a bunch of good devices.
May be time to vote with our feet.
