I have looked up every way and done everything to try and update my Ionic with the new firmware...Nothing seems to be working....I've unpair....factory rest...turned phone Bluetooth  on and off.......etc....not sure what it is I'm missing or why it won't update. All I keep getting is the X and update fail....any ideas or suggestions?

Going to Garmin.

I have spent hours turning my iPhone and Ionic on and off, doing a firmware reboot, unpairing and re-pairing the Ionic. The best I was able able to accomplish was getting ~45% of afirmware upgrade before the bluetooth crashed. Wifi wont work with it, since I am on a public network. It is rediculous after a firmware reboot that the watch wont work without upgrading to the latest firmware.If I had known that I necer would have done the firmware reboot. Soon in placec of a watch that would work but not sync, I now have a watch that is useles.

Will go to Amazon and give 1 star.
