This just happened to me as well!!! I tried to update my ionic, which was working fine, but during the update attempt it shut off and will not turn back on. I'm getting extremely frustrating because the only advice I can find is to restart it by holding the two buttons in for several seconds (which does nothing) or charge it (my battery was full when I attempted the update but I tried charging it anyway with no results). I tried to contact support through a chat but everytime I click on it I am circled back to the help page. So my ionic won't work and I cant get any help from fitbit. I will definitely be changing brands if this can't be fixed!!

Have you had any luck with yours? Mine still won't turn on and of course the worthless customer service department could only offer a 25% discount on a new fitbit. Seriously?? Why would I spend even 75% of the retail price for a PIECE OF JUNK?? My fitbit is not even 2 years old and was damaged by their firmware update but all they can say is "sorry".

If Google wasn't already rich and greedy I would feel sorry for them for buying fitbit. This is my third fitbit device but I can guarantee it will absolutely be my last. I am disgusted by the lack of customer service and that this company refuses to stand by its products. Maybe Google will be able to improve things but I will be too busy enjoying my Samsung smart watch to know. It took me longer than most to come to this conclusion so I don't foresee a bright future for fitbit. Goodbye and good riddance.

Same here - it's been really glitchy so just done an update for it. The update was not going well, it wouldn't connect up again for ages, finally got it connected and then the touch screen wasn't working and now black screen. No way am I buying again from them. It's not been great since the summer really. A lot of money for basically one year of shoddy, patchy tracking.
