I really think it depends on charging and other factors. if She has been though several models something is wrong on her end sorry

I had 2 Ionics failed, one after 13 months and one only after 5 months. And yes, both of them were properly charged via approved chargers and both of them, despite being advertised for swimming, never seen water.
Best AnswerSo by now, we all know Ionic isn't a reliable product. How about other fitbit products such as Versa or the Charge 3? Do they also break around a year?
