Hi

Can you please explain what Fitbit is doing by recalculating or re-assessing steps?

Yesterday I spent the afternoon climbing Scafell Pike. It took me nearly 3 hours to get up and back down and according to my Ionic I climbed 402 floors. When I got back to the hotel in the evening the steps count for the day was 26,970. When I woke up this morning the steps count had been re-assessed as 22,306.

Can you please explain what has happened. I this must have happened before but I have never noticed it.

I'm not sure if any Fitbit user here will be able to explain. You may want to contact Fitbit at http://contact.fitbit.com
