Best AnswerI troubleshooted based on the tips and suggestions, as well as pulled up some YouTube help and still nothing worked. My cousin had the same issue with her Ionic and customer service replaced hers - no questions asked!
Best AnswerThe same happened to mine, I left it on charge overnight (though couldn’t tell that the charge was successful as the unit was completely unresponsive) then worked my way through a series of You-Tube clips covering re-setting of the unit (pressing the buttons simultaneously etc), but still had no success. In frustration I left it for a couple days and then re-tried the button pressing, but this time held the buttons down simultaneously for longer, just as I was about to give up when the unit sprang back into life. If you do get your unit working again, I would try to ensure that the battery never runs totally flat, a quick clean of the terminals too helps!
Hope you manage to get it working again.
I too have a dead IONIC. I'm frustrated because it is a tool I use most days. It is past the warranty deadline.....and they will not replace it. I have been offered 25% discount on a new one. That is not good enough. I bought the top of the line Fitbit product because I thought it would keep working!!
Best AnswerThank you for the suggestions even after days of charging and cleaning it it still is unable to work. 😞
Best AnswerMy died last night as well no response not the first time this had done it... can usually fix it but had more that just the normal hassle, no charging no response about to throw it gave it a final hard reset holding longer than normal and more likely a lot hard though rage and hold it sprang back into life back on charge all good apart for the fact it is a poor design and clearly a known issue. please can Fitbit step up (as their must be around 100000 now, no pun) showing some commitment to their customers
Best AnswerCan you do that for me too, had mine a couple of months. I had to reset it to factory settings as the active minutes and the stair climb weren’t working. Never come back on after switching it off. I feel I should of kept my charge was far more reliable than this. I’ve lost my confidence in these products now.
