@Kirran1102 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for sharing the situation you are experiencing with your Ionic not turning on.

What happens when you plug it in to the charging cable? Does it light up? Do the green lights on the back light up?

In this case, I'd recommend performing a restart on your Ionic. This usually helps sorting out that kind of situation.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

No repair I know so far.

I contacted the customer support and they were very fast in replacing it.

My Fitbit ionic started to show this failure mode 2 days ago. I perceived this issue during sleeping time. The commands suddenly became slow. The blank screen became intermittent. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. After factory resetting the band with the Fitbit support on the phone, the

Apparently this fitbit has been replaced once before I brought it so I
brought the replacement they they had sent out to previous owner she opened
the sealed box to show me the watch and I had it working for 2.5 days and
then it went like that and now fitbit won't do anything for it

Bought it last week from Kohl's and was running okay. After last recharge yesterday/today, Fitbit Ionic is totally off. Also tried restart with reset as shown in steps, still its off(with or withour USB power). And also not able to sync to my phone to be able to change clock faces.

Let me know how to proceed.

Regards,

George

I had same issue with mine, although not recommended I tapped mine on the
kitchen worktop a couple of times and mine powered back up and is now
running perfectly maybe worth a try??

Sadly, the Ionic is plagued with such bugs, not yet fixed. I had Fitbit replace mine about 6 months ago after repeated problems. Why do they keep selling this model? I believe Fitbit has tacitly accepted their Ionic failure by launching the Versa. I want to like fitbit but they really messed up with the Ionic.

It is funny.
Just entered in the website and it seems the Fitbit versa has more visibility than the Ionic which I believed to be the brand flagship.

Its strange you mention a tap on watch... I had my watch in a bag and it was bouncing a bit and I dropped into the bag and saw it started running for a short time and then stopped again. Could be a bad power supply connection for the inside battery to control or to display ?

Yes very possible, I think they rushed into releasing this model before
having it 100% perfect cos the battery and charging issues seem to be a
major problem and yet fitbit do t have a way to fix or replace battery

Hey guys, try to make a test to see if it is really dead battery. What I doubt very much.
In a very dark room, try to play with the bottoms in the Fitbit and observe if the screen is on, but blank.
Islão check if the sensors in the back of the Fitbit are still operating.

My Ionic also seemed dead, but it was not. I had a black screen that was very difficult to see in the day light.
My solution was to contact Fitbit and they changed it

@Margotbowen I hope you're doing well! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with your Ionic.

Please try these tips for batteries that are not charging. Also, try a restart on your watch. If non of that works please try changing the clock face on your Ionic.

@Urmuz I hope you're doing well too. Thank you very much for sharing the experience you are having. Thanks for sharing the video showing what's happening.

Please try the same steps I shared above on this post in order to sort this out. It is worth giving that a try.

Also, lease consider trying the workaround shared by @wasori on his post too.
