Fixed my Ionic. Thanks. BTW after getting it back on I had to sync with the app to get the current time and date.

Best AnswerI sent my broken device back, but 2 weeks later they still have not received it. Seems they must be shipping in and out of China.....

I sent my deceased Ionic via FedEx Priority and it got there in one working day. They sent the replacement back to me via some specialty FedEx negative-Priority and it got to me in about eight working days. But, still, I received it.
Did you get a tracking number from your shipper? Track it, maybe bad weather has slowed it down.
The label they sent me for packaging/mailing only worked at USPS, I first took it to Fed Ex, they didn't accept it. There also was no tracking on the label, so no luck there either. I just have to sit and wait.... So sad!

I don't know if this helps, but a couple weeks without all the drama of the Ionic (will it work today? How will it fail today? Etc) was a bit of a break.
I wonder if this problem can be solved with an easy software update in the future. If not i will throw my fitbit in a garbage and never buy a new one again. Its my second fitbit suffering from abnormal dead screen problem. No reliability...
Screen would not come on. Held in back button left side of watch and the bottom button right side of watch. It is now working.
@NellyGwrote:Try restarting the Ionic - press both the Left hand 'Back' button and the lower right hand button untill the fitbit logo comes up (around 10 seconds or so). If that doesnt do it try a Factory Reset by going to the Settings App, scroll to About. Select that and scroll to Factory Reset.
Let us know how you go.
Glad it worked!

Best AnswerI encountered the same thing yesterday. The screen can't be on, however, the green pulsing light is working when i worn the ionic.
Did the trick below to restart the ionic as well and the screen works again.
Thanks
Best AnswerI seem to be lucky in as much I’ve had mine since xmas 2017, however it died this week. Has been on charge for 24 hours and nothing, I have tried resetting and nothing. After paying the amount Fitbit want it’s disgusting it’s only last for 3 months. Don’t know if I want another Now!
Best AnswerNothing brought my Ionic back and after 2 days of attempted Restarts and Factory Restarts to no avail, and videoing an attempted Factory Restart to send to Fitbit I was done like you. Then, on a whim I just sort of carefully whacked the side of the Ionic on my desk and tried another Restart - and it worked. Screen came back and I was able to download a completed software update. Now, it seems to be working OK.

Best AnswerMine has been plugged in for 3 days and hasn’t come back on. Do I take it back to the store for a return or send it to Fitbit? This is my 2nd one because the first one wouldn’t connect to Bluetooth. Thought this one was great until this... time for an Apple Watch
