I’m very disappointed with my new watch I’ve been wearing it for three weeks and it’s massively over calculating my steps I’ve tried resetting it to no avail

A warm welcome to the Community @ozzydakar. Thanks for the details mentioned and the restart performed.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this. I would like you to double check this article about how accurate are Fitbit devices? Could you provide me with more details about what you're experiencing?
Keep me posted!

Thanks for getting back @ozzydakar. In order to continue assisting, please reply to the following questions:
- Could you let me know what kind of activity you're doing?
- How many steps are you receiving?
- Are you receiving steps when you're not wearing your Ionic?
- Do you usually drive a lot during the day?
Keep me posted!

Hey,
Mine was too...sometimes thousands of extra steps at day....fitbit support couldnt help me. I finally gave up and returned it...do yourself a favour and get rid of their junk device.
My iphone is far more accurate in calculating steps, distance and stairs than my ionic could ever hope to be.
