So i have had my Fitbit Ionic for a little over a year. And My wife has one for almost 2 years. We ride Moutntain bikes a lot and like to keep track of our progress through the Fitbit app and Strava. The last 6 months something has changed. I personally think its a firmware issue. We are having problems charging our devices. The device gives a message "not charging" not enough power detected from this source. Now i have a stand that I used to charge it with and it no longer works and i have used the original cable plugged into the supplied box plus another 2 amp charger, also have plugged it into a desktop usb port and a Laptop usb port. Sometimes it does charge up to about 70% but will never fully charge. This is not just my watch but my wife's as well. Same message, same outcome. When i go to the Fitbit app it says my watch is up to date so its not that. today me and my wife went riding and have set up the hotkey for the activity we like to do and we both hit the button before our ride. About half way thru I stopped to check it and the activity had stopped. My wife's watch did the same thing. We both restarted the activity and 10 or 15 minutes into the ride it did it again, on both watches. Something is definitely wrong, but its not a damaged watch. We have tried factory resets and reconnecting to our phones, but nothing seems to help. If you can not help me i am going to be forced to go with a Garmin.
Any help would definitely be appreciated.
thanks.

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until you see the fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button. For fitbit versa and fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons. If you need additional help, contact Customer Support.
