I bought a Fitbit ionic from a friend & when I try to sync it to my phone, it says “data not cleared sync & try again.”
My phone will find the device but then when I try to sync it, I get nothing.
Not sure what to do!!

Well, this usually happens when a factory reset was performed without before unpairing the device from the account. Usually you should unpair your Ionic, forget Bluetooth (both Ionic and Ionic (Classic)) and perform the factory reset. To solve this issue follow these steps:
If you can't get started with your Fitbit device, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements below:
After making sure about that, try setting up your Ionic again.
