Tried to update. Ionic now frozen showing Fitbit logo. Have deleted and redownloaded app. Have forgotten ionic but now my phone can’t find it to re-pair even though watch is fully charged and on but frozen with logo. Any ideas? Thank you.

I am sorry but I have had the same issue, contacted the telephone help desk only to offer me a 25% discount on my next watch... that is not fixing the problem... All started when I followed the steps to update my IONIC as per Fitbit recommendations. Since then, my watch was showing main time but touch screen was not working to get to the other apps. After following "help desk" recommendations, I was stuck with a flashing logo and absolutely no more use for my IONIC. That is not considered fixing the problem... Very disappointed right now.

I do not understand.... I have read many people having this issue after trying to update. So when your warranty is over and watch freezes due to updating, people are only get a % off to get a new one. I have the same issue however I am under warranty and am one of the lucky ones. What is up with the updates ruining these watches? It is very concerning to me. I know this will happen again to me. As this is the 2nd time after updating....now on 3rd watch.
