Hello

My Fitbit Iconic, will not turn on. I have charged it over night, tried pushing the left and bottom right button, however it is not turning on at all.

@JayK_au A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried.

I'd like you to confirm that you followed these steps to restart your Ionic:

  1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Long time Ionic owner here. In fact I was one of the first people to get one. I've experienced a number of issues with the Ionic over the years, some of which were resolved with a firmware upgrade and some of which were introduced by a firmware upgrade.  In regards to anyone not being able to power on the Ionic, try the following which is a bit modified from the official reset instructions. Also if after trying these steps, it still doesn't turn on, it's likely the battery is damaged (from shock or moisture getting into the watch; Yes this has happened to me):

1. Try holding ALL of the buttons on the watch for 30-60 seconds and release if you see the Fitbit logo;

2. If step 1 doesn't work, connected the watch to its charging cable for at least 5 minutes, and while *keeping the charging cable connected*, attempt step 1 again. Remember to keep the charging cable connected while performing the reset.

3. Try the factory reset with the power cable connected: Hold down all buttons, when the fitbit logo appears and disappears, let go of only the lower right button and wait to feel a vibration. Once the watch vibrates, allow the watch to boot and you should see the logo remain on the screen for 1-2 mins (if it working as normal)

If you get it to work, wait for it to fully charge, then do another reset, and go through the normal steps to get it paired and perform an upgrade to the latest firmware asap.

Good luck
