When I tap the Fitbit app to open it the screen goes black. I haven’t tried deleting it and reinstalling because I don’t want to lose my data. Any other tips?

The data previously uploaded to Fitbit is kept on the servers and the current data is on your device and will remain there for a few days. Your device will store seven days of full data.
Try removing the app and turning off bluetooth. Then restart the phone, reinstall the app and turn on bluetooth.
