As of about 9am this morning the Fitbit app on my HP Elite X3 won't start. Tapping the app launch button makes the screen flash and goes right back to the start screen. Have had no problems for past 6 months with this ionic/phone combination. Uninstalled and reinstalled app made no difference. Hard reset to phone and ionic made no difference. Fitbit support on Twitter no help except boiler plate responses. Suggestions?

I have exactly the same problem, trying to also get it working on the X3.

I am having exactly the same problem with my 950XL, started this morning. Resetting the phone, resetting the app, deleting and reinstalling the app all make no difference.

I have the same problem.
IMO is the result of the Fitbit application update.
