Fitbit ionic adidas

We purchased the Fitbit ionic Adidas for my daughter this past Sunday. We followed the steps to set it up. It is connected to our WiFi and we can also get it to sync via Bluetooth.  The problem  is we can't get it to track any stats or show us anything other that the Fitbit dots logo. Please help. I even watched YouTube videos and I can't get this war ch to do anything .This is super frustrating after spending $300.

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary. And here is the User Manual that may help.

I tried that three times, but it didn't work. I unloaded Fitbit from her phoNE and then reloaded
