There’s something wrong with counting the floors, we didn’t walk any but my watch  counted 17 floors today....?

Your fitbit will give a floor if it detects that you gain 10 feet in height while walking. This doesn't have to be up stairs but could be just walking up a slope. Could this explain it?

 

Because it detects the gain through changes in air pressure you can also get some strange results if a weather front moves through.

We were walking around, there was only one (small) hill wich could explain
one or two floors... my wife had the same thing wilth her charge 2, she had
20 floors...
