Found an ionic

I found an ionic in the ocean and went to shore and asked everyone if this is theirs, no one claimed it. Put it on Facebook and again no one claimed it. I tried to factory reset it to where’s it can be mine with all of the info wiped off, but when i tried to put the pin in on the app, it said unlock with your phone. Obviously this phone connected is not my phone, is there a way I can wipe all this stuff off of it and reset for me? Thanks

I'm having trouble imagining finding an Ionic in the ocean. Was it just floating along? You've done your part to clean the ocean of a little bit of clutter. 🙂

Someone smarter than I will come by and let you know what the unlock procedure is.

I was snorkeling in a Bay Area and saw it at the bottom. Went to the shore and asked everyone around if they lost a watch.

@Will0214  you will need to do a factory reset @Will0214 .

On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.

- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.

- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.

- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
