In the last week my gps tracking on my Ionic has lost its accuracy, any reason why this would happen?
my husband has a Fitbit Blaze which tracks via gps on his phone and they used to record very similar distances/mile splits but now they are a few miles difference. It’s is definitely the ionic as walking miles recording between 13 to 16 minutes when our average is normally 29 minute miles

@SarahDDD, I think that is what I'll be doing too. I will miss the fitbit community, but imagine that Garmin is similar, and maybe caters a bit more to the athlete, rather than the person trying to get active. Both are important, but with GPS being a critical feature for me, I fancy myself more of the athlete type at this point. Perhaps it is time to move on.

Same issues here, since the last firmware update in January, the GPS hasn't worked. If I zoom in closely on the map when it connects, the line is jagged, so it thinks I've gone much further than I actually did.

After posting this the tracking seemed to be correct.
After another update it is now again incorrect, anyone else find this?

yes, mine won't lock onto a signal at all after the most recent update, so it went from bad to not at all. Fitbit said I could have 25% off a new one. So, I suppose my options are to:
1) Spend US$200 on a new Ionic (which I will be replacing after just less than 2 years of use)
2) Spend US$130 on a Garmin Vivoactive 3, or $180 on the Garmin Vivoactive 3 music (which has on board music storage and seems pretty comparable to the Ionic).
3) Check out Amazfit devices (they seem very reasonably priced, but are relative newcomers to the market)
Seems like really, a replacement Ionic for a device that worked fine until the 2 latest updates (and if you look at the message board, the most recent update has a lot of complaints) may be not only the most expensive option - even with the 25% discount, but really, the least attractive since who knows what the next update will do.
