Have never received text messages notifications

I’m able to see incoming phone calls but I never receive text messages anymore. I figure if the calls come thru then so should the texts right? Thanks

I've found text messages a bit hit or mis with the Ionic. And, I never receive email notification on my Ionic, which is quite annoying. 2 firmware updates later still nothing. I'm on Android 9. I'm about to receive a new Android 10 phone. Will be interesting to see if changing phones gives me email notification.

Check that you have everything ticked for notifications within the app. I have about a hundred times.

It's pretty weird that you have received call notifications but no text messages. As mentioned by @PaulMe please double check that you have enabled text notifications in your Fitbit app, instructions can be found in this article. 

If all your notifications are enabled, you should be receiving calls, texts, upcoming calendar events and apps notifications.
