Heart rate tracking issue

Noticed sleep was not giving details yesterday and today - then noticed no heart rate.  I reset it and still nothing.  Checked that heart rate is to be tracked.

If you're experiencing difficulties with the heart rate tracking of your Ionic device, this could be the root cause of the Sleep Stages issue because such feature needs heart rate data to be recorded. Therefore and to move forward, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors of your device are still flashing? Also, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Thank you for responding. No, the heart rate is not flashing. I did a factory reset this am and still not working. There is no green light on the back of the ionic either.
