IONIC daily step total reduced

Today after completing 12K steps when Ionic was synced to iPhone app the steps noted on the my Ionic and on app were reduced to 9,800 steps.

I’ve rebooted the ionic twice and logged on and off the app twice. The “missing” steps still remain “missing”. 

Any suggested fixes?

Mine just did the same thing. Lost around 3,000 steps when it synced. Ionic syncing to Samsung Galaxy S8+

This has just happened to me too! My steps were up around 12250 and after I synced they have dropped to 9586z really annoying as I’m also in a challenge this week and this happens on day 1!

I had almost 12,000 steps and now it's at 96 steps. I'm so pissed. I also tried restarting my app and my watch and it didn't fix anything.

Update: Just talked to a representative over chat. After some very basic troubleshooting steps, I was told nothing could be done and let them know if I continue to have this issue. Um? Isn't the point trying to figure out what caused the issue so it DOESN'T happen again?? So yeah. Nothing was fixed. 🙄
