Improvements for Ionic

Its the one year anniversary of the release of the Ionic. Released with 50 apps. 

As of today Dec 06 2018, I count 277 apps available. 

Most useless to most.. I just have uploaded the newest update and still no fix for the alarm.

The strong VIBRATION is not strong enough for the regular person and it only goes off three times and stops.

Anyone know when Ionic 2  will be released?

Most of these apps have not been written or uploaded by Fitbit, but by Fitbit users. This probably is why they tend to be geared to a small percentage of users. ex: I doubt many users use the European subways. 

 

As for an Ionic 2, have you heard of such a model? I haven't, but I suggest keeping an eye on the http://blog.fitbit.com this is where Fitbit  posts posts what is happenig and announces new products.

It's great to see you around @jpmaxwell. Your feedback is appreciated, Fitbit is always trying to improve or fix bugs on the watches. 

 

Just as @Rich_Laue mentioned, the apps that have been developed on Fitbit Labs were from users. You can learn more about them by checking this article What is Fitbit Labs?. 

 

Fitbit is always trying to improve its watches and this is why we have our Feature Suggestion board, these ideas are reviewed by the Fitbit team and the status will change based on Fitbit plans. 

 

Currently, I don't have news for Ionic 2 but any information about new trackers or watches, it will be posted on the Fitbit Blog or Fitbit Community.

@franceswartnaby of you have downloaded an addition book to your computer, it will be possible to sync it to the ionic.
