My Ionic has quit syncing a number of times. Each time this happens I restart my phone, I delete the app and reload it, I remove the device and reinstall it...it just keeps happening on a monthly basis. When I contact customer support all they do is suggest things I've already tried. No one is understanding my frustration! Anyone else have issues like this? Currently, I uninstalled it again this morning and now its been "Connecting to tracker" for over an hour when trying to reinstall. Each time is a bit more frustrating.

@SPommerenke Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with Ionic not syncing consistently. I understand your frustration.
What phone type/model are you using? Did you by any chance performed a restart on Ionic as well? This usually helps too.
Something else that helps too is restarting Bluetooth on your phone (turn it off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on).
If nothing works, the best thing to do is trying all of the syncing troubleshooting steps shown on that helpful article. Try them in the order given there for best results.
Now, it is also possible that your Ionic may be unpaired from your account. If this is the case, please set it up once again.
Keep me posted!

I did finally get it going last night by doing another hard reset. This is the third time I've had to do that. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted Bluetooth and logged out and back into Fitbit at least twice monthly since getting this Ionic. I have an iphone6.

@SPommerenke Thanks for your reply and for trying those steps in order to sort this out.
I'm glad to hear that Ionic is now syncing properly again. This shouldn't be happening that often as iPhone 6 is a supported device.
A new Ionic firmware version started to roll out yesterday. It is a progressive roll out so you should receive it in the following days. Please feel free to download that firmware as this update includes some fixes. It should prevent that from happening again. Check this post for more details on that.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes after the update!
