Are there other frustrated fitbit customers out there waiting for their defective Ionics to be replaced who have learned the product is now back ordered 6-8 weeks? Here's hoping this because they have made engineering changes that will fix the chronic defects. I am now without a working Ionic for > three months. Feels kind of like fitbit is begging me to try someone else's smartwatch product.

Oh dear! That sounds VERY frustrating! But ifbthey dont have any in stock there is not much they can do. I really hope it gets to you soon.

It might be that they are still selling better than Fitbit expected.

nothing to do with them selling better it's the fact that there having so many issues with them and having to replace them under warranty I'm now waiting on receiving my 3rd ionic nothing but software problems with them and fitbit try to blame it on compatibility ive waisted hours on the phone to customer services let alone the time I've waisted doing trouble shooting steps and as everyone else who are having so many issues with them and all fitbit does is go running of behind its compatibility page and it's trouble shooting page

I'm not sure what is meant by so many issues, I know at least a couple dozen with the ionic and none have reported issues.
A community board set up to help users with issues is not the best way to ascertain problem m s with a device. Normally only people with problems post.

go to the community ionic bored and see all the issues with the ionic the community board is for whatever ionic uses want to put on that board when they are not getting anywhere else and keep having replacements due to all the issues with the ionic that Fitbit don't have a clue how to fix quick you can go running behind your compatibility list maybe it's all the phones that Fitbit tests are old models with a handful of new models high end models one idea for fitbit is to start testing more newer models from low end to high end with the latest operating systems no wonder the company he's losing so many customers two other companies quick go running behind your Fitbit Sales List now then maybe you can go running beyond your replacement list of the ionic and actually see how many problems they are with this product it's meant to be the best Fitbit does.. far from it

Yes a help board is usually full of people asking for help.
