I'm so perplexed. My Ionic won't sync. I've followed all the suggestions but to no avail. What next?

Without knowing what suggestions you followed and how you did them it's hard to offer any help.

Hey Patruns
I'm in a similar pickle. I've deleted bluetooth devices off my Galaxy S7, including my Ionic. I've tried switching bluetooth off and on. I've removed my Ionic from the Fitbit app. I've restarted my Ionic. I've deleted the Fitbit app and downloaded it again. I've tried restarting my phone. I've tried using wifi and cell data. I think I've covered all the recommended bases to get my Ionic to pair again with my Galaxy S7, but nothing is working. Any ideas?
It's happened a lot this year and each time I'm able to pair it again, until it stops syncing the next time.

I have similar issues with my Samsung S8. It seems to be intermittent with me now, a phone software update helped me the most. I went from not syncing at all to sometimes syncing. I cannot count on getting notifications, most of the time I don't, even though I am set up to receive notifications, sync all day, always connected, and keep alive widget set to "on". I didn't seem to have so much trouble syncing with my old charge 2.

Hi there @CWBrubaker, @WalkerLaurel, and @MaeganD! Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this syncing issue, nice way to go!
While reading your post, my first thought is that your Ionic might be no longer paired to your Fitbit account and that's why it's not syncing or connecting to your phone's Bluetooth. In order to solve this, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Ionic and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device".
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
If you can't get started with your Fitbit device, usually a missing requirement is the cause. So, I'd recommend taking a look at the article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? or if the syncing issue is still happening, check: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Thanks for your help @SunsetRunner!
