Ionic battery dies in less then 24hrs

My battery will not last 24hrs. I've uninstalled all apps, all day sync not enabled, and I've not been using any of the exercise modes.

Hi @mlange02! Please receive a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! Heart

Thanks for confirming that you've already turned off the "All day sync" option to save battery during the day. Same thing with the exercise modes, this helps to save battery too; you can check more tips to improve the battery life of your Ionic.

Also try to clean the contacts of your Ionic regularly. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts; do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.

Please restart your Ionic, if you haven't do so. How are you changing your Ionic? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your Fitbit device. Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too.

Thanks for your response Yojana,

I've rebooted it many times. The change connections are perfectly clean..it charges to 100% every time with np. My wife has an Ionic with apps and a 3rd party watch face installed and she'll get almost 5 days. There has to be another issue with mine if it dies in less than a day.

Same thing here...  Up until the latest update, I was getting 4-5 days.  Now, less than 24 hours.  I suspect it's a software issue and not a problem with internal components.  Mine's almost dead anyway (broken band, screen is failing, HR monitor no longer accurate, the list goes on...) so I'm going to get every last minute out of it that I can and cut my losses...  probably going Garmin as the Ionic has been my one and forever only Fitbit product.  I'd keep updating your firmware as it come out and hopefully you'll get a little more life out of it.  Keep this in mind though...  in 15 months, Fitbit has NEVER really been able to get the Ionic to work right (mostly the software side) so either 1). Their software engineers are incompetent, or 2). They are purposefully releasing software to sabotage the Ionic in hopes that you will buy something new from them (probably not but I wouldn't put it past a large corporation like this...).  In either case, I don't trust them and won't be a continued customer.
