Hello, all. My Ionic is draining battery very fast. I set a timer for 30 minutes and recorded the percentage that my Ionic was at before and after those 30 minutes were up, I checked the battery level. It had drained 5%. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but if you do the math, 100/5 = 20, or 20 x 30 minutes. That would equal 10 hours, which is too much power consumption for a device that had the screen off for 30 minutes. It is also using 20-30% battery when I sleep, which is 6-7 hours. This results in me charging it more than once a day... with a battery life shorter than the Apple Watch. Someone help. I have only had this device for about 10 months. The thing is I only have the stock apps installed.....

I did a lot of research and switched to Garmin for the quality and precision. They have many different levels of watches. I have never been happier and now see Fitbit as an average tracker that is mass produced cheaply and needs to be replaced regularly. I value my money more than that and by buying a quality Garmin it will save the landfills of fitbits that they don't create to last and don't fix.

Two years later and I have the same experience. Set to dim, on DnD, set to silent, factory reset twice now, and set the screen to only turn on when I push the left button. It was at 100% when I went to bed and was dead when I woke up 9 hours later.

This just happened to me two days ago. After recharge, the battery started draining really quickly. 100% to dead within 9 hours. Have tried to reset my watch multiple times but that didn't do anything...frustrating...😠

Same here, I updated the watch and the problems started... and the funny thing is than FITBIT recommended me just to buy another new device...
Incredible and very unhappy with it, they are selling a watch with limited warranty and one of the parts cannot be replaced in case of any fail (battery).
I already change to GARMIN....this is other level and serious company not tricky as that.

My ionic drains from full charge to dead in a matter of hours. I've had it just over 12 months now. I'd like some customer support please!!!

Mine has started losing charge quickly. Had it since first released. Now barely 2 days before having to recharge.

I’m having exact same issue. I loved my ionic and got it because I’m a swimmer. Cost me a lot of money and I was hoping it was an update issue. Mine happened ever since the last update. I had high hopes it would correct itself but after reading these posts it looks like I’ll be saving for an Apple Watch or Garmin... looks like Fitbit couldn’t give a **ahem** and no wonder Harvey Norman don’t give replacement product care on them. They’d go broke.

I switched a lot of stuff off, and turned the screen to manual activation. Battery now lasts much longer. Obviously too much going on.

I am facing tbe same problem. Day before yesterday late evening I found my ionic completely discharged. I charged again to 100%, used during my workout yesterday morning and then stored it away. Today just now found its completely discharged again. Didn't face this problem till about a week ago. This has happened twice now after the latest firmware update. What to do?

Mine was draining very fast too. Need a recharge almost daily. I then changed the SPO2 clock face. I charged it to 100% this morning by 8am and now at 5pm it’s at 97%. Seems SPO2 is sucky sucky. Perhaps a comment from all SPO2 users could back this up. Regards Des

My Ionic is over 3yrs old and because of the SPo2 clock face I only run that once per charge. My charge cycle is typically every 3.5 days and using the SPo2 clock face on that full charge cycle gives me 2 readings/week which is enough to give me a trend. .
