Ionic connectivity drops constantly

When I ran with the Surge, whether with an apple or android, it never lost connection.  Literally, my favorite.  I could launch my music (without a subscription 😐,) skip and pause songs, and see all my notifications with my watch while I ran.   Since it has been phased out, and I had worn it until the vibration gizmo died and couldn't be replaced, I upgraded.   As soon as I upgraded to the ionic, I have issues just about every other day with my phone and watch staying connected. I have even upgraded my phone, thinking it would help.  Makes me crazy.

I have searched and searched for a solution to keep this l little guy connected, to no avail.  Is there anything in the works to get this resolved?

Bring back the Surge...

Welcome to the Community @Snap2. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Fitbit devices.

I appreciate the time you took to make your research. I would like you to double check this article about which phones and tablets you can use with your Fitbit watch or tracker

Additionally, please confirm you've tried this syncing troubleshooting and if it's still not syncing normally, let me know the mobile device you're using.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
