My ionic was almost fully charged last night before going to bed. Around 7 pm tonight, I noticed that I had a low battery warning. By 9 pm, it was down to 15% so I turned it off and put it on the charger. It never responded to the charger and now will not power up.

Definitely contact Fitbit. Unfortunately, this seems to be an ongoing issue with the Ionic. They replaced mine (same issue, it just died), but there is a cost unless your Ionic is in warranty (their replacement is cheaper than if you purchase a new Ionic online). Personally, if it happens again I will look for a different tracker. Good luck, they were very accommodating.

I’m having the same problem. I just charged my ionic this morning. When I looked at it a few hours later it was on 0%, and now it won’t come back on. This is the 4th Ionic I’ve had due to issues with them. I’m ready to give up!

I plugged mine up to charge for the night and it died as well about a week ago. I have done everything in the forums and chatted--only to be informed my device is faulty and out of warranty. I was offered a 25% discount on the replacement. However, that was deceptive. It was only off the full price (not the current sale price of the device). I can buy one for $199, but with the 25% discount, it is $187! LOL! Just another slap in the face. If you search the forums, this is a common problem that the company is not taking responsibility for unless it is within the year it was purchased.

It seems they are only replacing those that are within the 1 year warranty period. I have contacted customer service and only offered a discount because mine is just a couple months over year warranty. 🙁

I have received 3 replacements already. They last a couple months and then die. I think they’re replacing them with refurbished watches. 🤔

Same for me. Frustrating. Although I tried resetting using 2 buttons it wouldn’t work. Just remained dead. Then I tried by connecting to power and held all 3 buttons at once (which was similar to the reset for hr2) and it reset ok. working again. Thanks.
