I followed supports from a similar problem advice to do a factory reset (this is holding all three buttons down - then release the bottom right after a second logo flash).
After the factory reset it remains with the logo. After the battery died - I recharged - and it remains with the logo. What can I also do? Thanks for helping.

Let the Ionic completely flatten the battery. This should do a reset of sorts. Charge it up and again attempt the 3 button reset procedure.
Leave connected to the charger when doing the reset.
