The green light just disappeared and it does not register any heart rate anymore. I have restarted the clock, the phone, and i set the Fitbit clock back to original settings. I have restarted Bluetooth, pairing,, but the green light does not work, and no heart rate registered.

One ,ore thing to try, in the settings app on the watch turn the Heart Rate to OFF and restart your Ionic. Then go in again and turn HR to ON. If there is still no green light yoj will need to contact Support (link in my signature)

I have tried all of the things. None is working. And the only thing that seems to bee working is the clock/time. The sync does not work properly, it does not count my step or register sleep. The green led will not turn on.
I have had the clock since october 2017, what to do?!?.
I have never showered or swim with it, i have used it every day. I need it. It helped me get motivation to loose 28kg.
I have turned the heartrate of, restarted yet again and turned it on again. It seems to be dead.
What else can i try?
I went to the store today, and I got a new watch!! I am soo relived.
I tried every option and suggestion that i got in the forum, but the clock was dead. It stop counting steps, it did not sync, no heartrate or sleep register. I always took it of when i showered, no swimming. But i used it every day, every hour. Can not think of anything that i did wrong with it.
My new watch is on my wrist, love it!

I have the same problem. I'm using it since 2018 April. I have reached out to the support after following all the suggestions from the forum.

After talking on the phone with several Fitbit support agents about her Ionic not syncing with the Fitbit app--and finding no solution--my wife took the option to have a replacement ionic mailed to her. No evidence of purchase was required. The agent could see her account and the failures of his suggestions and offered the replacement option. Since then I have set up a Fitbit account and linked the failing watch to it. At first the downloads failed, but when I skipped Try Again and tapped Go To Bluetooth the set up completed--in 6 hours! An ionic update was indicated. It too failed but succeeded via Bluetooth. The next day syncing began to fail. Battery was at 90%. When recharged to 100% syncing began to work again. So after less than 5 months I have my own (crippled) ionic and my wife is getting a free replacement ionic. But I will never spend another cent on a Fitbit product.

Same thing happened to me. As a community we need to do something about this to show our frustration and highlight these defective products. Fitbit keeps deleting my messages that I post though.

My ion stopped tracking heart rate after about 1.5 year using it. I tried to reset both, turned off/on heartbeat option. nothing worked my heart rate shows 145 even while I am in rest. What is my next option. I had about 4-5 fit bits in last 6-7 years. If Fitbit does not help me, will never buy their products in future.

Sadly my fiancé got a Fitbit Inspire HR, died in 4 months. Got a replacement. Wouldn’t even power up, they sent a new one. It’s lasted 2 weeks and now the HR monitor leds quit, have done a restart, but nothing works...the quality on these is a absolute joke. I’ll be calling customer service tomorrow but I expect this to be an utter train wreck

I just purchased direct from Fitbit the Inspire2 for my wife to replace her Inspire1. The LEDs for heart rate have now stopped after a week of use and no bpm is recorded. There is no setting for HR to turn on or off, only HR Zone Notifications, and resetting makes no difference. I guess I may need to return the Inspire2 and have my wife go back to her old Inspire1?

My fitbit HR sensor stopped working. Customer support told me to factory reset the device and now it does not work at all.
This Fitbit Ionic is my 5th or 6th fitbit and they are all break with normal use, and contacting support will only make it worse. You have to buy replacement bands, replacement chargers, and replacement devices... i’ve bought so many fitbit products over the years and their support is the worst. They literally wrote in an email to me that “we don’t offer device repair but that’s a good idea.” Patronizing, crappy support.
Some people claim replacement devices are offered, they are not.
