Last night my ionic kept turning itself off...
I ended up having to do a factory reset. It started updating the software and I left it loading next to my phone and went to sleep. This morning it's just stuck with the Fitbit logo.
Now it wont respond to either shut down with the 2 buttons or the hard rest with all 3...
It's only 2 months old!

Welcome to the party, Fitbit is being awful squirrally as to why so many of our devices are failing from this update. This is unconscionable business practice on their part.

Its dead.. they are sending me a replacement. She said sometimes they get stuck....
Brilliant, cant wait for the next update..

I'm out of warrantee, so I don't get a replacement, I get a 40% discount. Color me deeply unimpressed.

Yep, these **ahem**'s are bricking around the globe and the suits aren't even acknowledging that there is a HUGE issue with design and/or manufacturing of the Ionic so even a replacement won't be any better. They need to admit the problem, devote R & D resources to figuring out how to fix it, then do a global recall and replace EVERY single Ionic!
