Ionic issues

So frustrating l purchased the ionic with having so much faith in this company with previous products I have used and manage to convince others to use such as the Blaze and Charge HR. I have manage to sync my Ionic twice since I have received it. Unfortunately now I can’t even add the device back to my account. I have unpaired/paired, delete app and reinstalled. Reboot my iPhone but nothing seems to be working. Is anyone else having these issues? My phone picks the iconic as i only get to the stage of adding the 4 numbers, then it says connecting to fitbit... and I can’t seem to go any further.

Smooth going for me @Jen2017

The one time sync seemed to take longer than usual, I simply closed the app on my iphone and reopened, boom, sync'd.  Looks like a known issue and fitbit is working on it - here's the thread:

I don't know whether it is something to do with my iphone as it is the iphone 8. Because i have never had any problems with fitbits before. I have manage to sync it twice but not it wont even let me add the device onto my account. It just gets to the stage connecting to fitbit and then nothing else happens. Hopefully they fix it otherwise I will be returning mine.

I returned my Ionic after spending hours with technical support without any success.  The screen on mine just kept blinking a blue diamond pattern every 4 seconds.  I sent the video to support, after they couldn't figure out what to do.  We tried hard reset repeatedly (hold all three button for at least 15 seconds).  Support was dumbfounded so I was asked to send it back and once received they would replace it. After waiting more than a month for a product that didn't work I requested a refund instead of a replacement. I'm still waiting on my refund.....   my suspicion is that Fitbit rolled the Ionic out too early.

I Have been using fitbit for years, but this iconic I bought has too many issues, I bought it in feb and already had to have it replaced for not coming on, and dying after being fully charged, it took a month to get it back and they made me send a video after our phone call trouble shooting. I have had it back for a month and the screen just went blank again when I hold it down the fitbit logo just comes up and wont do anything else. I'm losing my faith in fitbit with this ionic
