Hi all,
I got a new Ionic to replace my Charge 2 and I am not getting any notifications to the watch. I have a Samsung Galaxy 7 edge and my notification bar on the phone says the notifications are running. I disabled the Charge 2 and have turned on my phone and Ionic along with doing all the other recommended steps. I am at a lose, my Charge 2 worked fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After trying every troubleshoot recommendation, still not receiving text notifications. Really disappointing and will likely return the Ionic one day after I purchased. Too many users experiencing the same problem. Serious flaw that Fitbit needs to fix.

Thank you for your reply @1209surf, while sending your information to the Customer Support team I've been informed that you already have a case created with them for further assistance. I'ts good to know as well that this was resolved for you.
Thank you also for the information @Ballhome57 and @mlebowitz76, I'm sorry to see that you had to give your Ionic as gift due to these inconveniences.
@Tegandoo, could you please provide more details about the payment option and the display difficulty you've mentioned? Have you also tried restarting your device? Are you having trouble with notifications as the other users in the thread?
@Kathycb, @Kellib22, could you please confirm if you've checked the information in this post about compatibility and troubleshooting options?
Thank you for the update @Daddio761, that's good news.
Best AnswerWhat worked for me was go into setting, fitbit, notifications, then banner style, choose persistent, mine was on temporary before. Once I switched it to persistent it worked! Hope this helps you 😃

Best AnswerFIXED!!! I was having the same issue of no notifications. I personally did not set my iphone xs max to persistent on message banners but what i was able to do was go into the fit bit app and i turned on notifications. Then i held the single button on the left of the ionic watch and it poped up a menu that showed music controls on one screen i then swiped right to get into the screen wake and notifications on the watch itself. then i clicked notifications until it showed on. ever since then i have gotten my emails, texts, calls, and facebook notifications on my watch hope this helps...

Best AnswerYes, clicking the left button (single button side) till you get a screen and then switching on the Notifications worked for me. If you get another screen, you may swipe left or right to get the notifications screen.
