Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Lisajayne16, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community.
Thanks for posting the steps that you've tried with your Ionic. Sorry to hear that this is not responding, you did an excellent job researching for troubleshooting steps. But let's try a couple of steps that might help to bring to life your Ionic.
As you've mentioned that you bought it 18 months ago, I'd suggest to clean the contacts of your Ionic. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.
Please try to restart your Ionic, if you haven't do so. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable?
Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too.
Let's give it a try and please keep me posted.

My Ionic is dead too. It’s a widespread issue and Fitbit is doing nothing to fix it. Switching to iWatch.

I have exact same issue. It's clearly very widespread and no idea why Fitbit aren't sorting it.

Dear Yojana,
My Ionic bought in November 2017 was the best smartwatch/ tracker I had, I was extremely satisfied!
A week ago, it just stopped working. I try all revival methods but nothing, then I start to surf on forums and realized that I'm not the only one with this problem.
Exactly as other Ionic users wrote, 18 months ok, then suddenly STOP!
This behavior pattern is repeated on too many cases that are obvious that is not users fault!
FITBIT must come out with some solution to satisfy users, or you will lose credibility and new users!
It is in the best interest of your company to find a solution.
I would like very much to continue using Ionic because it was a great product until now.
Best regards!

I just had this problem. At first I thought it was the sensors so I cleaned it them as recommended. Then I noticed it won't charge. I plug it in and it doesn't charg . I have also had mine for about 18 months. Very disappointed because I really love my ionic watch

18 months. That seems to be the trend. I’m hoping to get a resolution soon and I will let the community know.
