My father recently passed down his ionic to my boyfriend. There was a pin code set up to unlock the ionic as my father had turned on the wallet feature. When we try to turn this off by going into the Fitbit app the device lock section already says that it is disabled. However the ionic is still asking for a pin code everytime... how do we fix this?

Seems odd that you're still receiving the pin code lock screen after disabling this feature. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart the Ionic device following the steps from our help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? and also: How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit device? for more information and details about this specific feature.
