Ionic poor charging design

Had my ionic for about 6 months now. Now having issues when trying to charge. It seems the magnet isn’t string enough to hold it in the proper charging position. Any slight movement it it knocks it out of place and then off charge. Should I ask for a replacement? is the anything I can do to aid the charging process?

Return the device, get a refund and move.to another brand (friend advice).
