Ive only just reacently purchased it and have been using it for under a week. Throughout the day, during workouts and while I am sleeping it randomly turns off concluding in no tracking. Frustrated as to why this is occuring, hasnt been in use long enough for it to start playing up. Thank you in advance for your replies

I have the same problem. I pushed the buttons and it would come back on then turn off again a bit later. Now I can't get it to come back on at all. It has been charging all night and it was 100 percent charge when it started turning off.

Was this issue resolved? A friend of mine bought me an ionic from the US, and I powered it on only yesterday. After some trouble trying to set it up, I managed to make it work. But since morning today it has turned off 9-10 times. Every time I pressed the left and the bottom right buttons to turn it on again. It will turn on and switch of within 2 mins, sometimes immediately, and other times it doesn't even turn on! I gave up after the tenth time! This is not how a $300 product behaves on the second day.
I use my iPad pro 12.9 (2015 version) and my Oneplus2 device to sync. It definitely has sync issues as well, but I thought I can manage somehow. After this, I'm getting really annoyed. If the issue was resolved, can you help me?

Unfortunately not, mine still turns off. Ive been in touch with the support team and they have gotten back to me with different methods that were meant to apparently stop it but after numerous attempts its still occuring. I completely agree a $450 device definitely should not be turning out like this. I had given up trying as the methods were just not working, so I just end up turning it back on everytime hoping it lasts longer than the last time.
Im starting to think its a hardware issue, but not sure how to go about it or who to contact.

I'm having this exact same problem. It randomly shuts off. I did all the recommended troubleshooting steps to no avail. It will sometimes work for hours, and sometimes reset itself continuously. I'm going to be returning it soon if I don't see a fix coming. I had a Microsoft Band 2 that did everything this does and never had problems, they just quit supporting it unfortunately due to not enough interest.

I think I figured out why this is happening. I use it with my iPad pro and whenever I connect my Apple pencil, the watch switches off. So it has led me to deduce that something with the bluetooth is interfering. With almost all my other bluetooth devices, I haven't faced much issue. Did you guys notice something similar?

Interestingly enough, I experienced this problem today which led me here after checking with my wife and her Ionic. Earlier this morning, I did charge my Apple Pencil and it was after this that I had noticed the issue. I have turned off my Bluetooth on my iPad and turned it back on, restarted my Ionic and so far I haven’t experienced a shutdown.

Following up...
Since Thursday, I have not experienced the shutting down of my Ionic. It does appear that the Apple Pencil being connected was the issue.

I don’t have an Apple Pencil so not sure why mine shuts off
