Ionic randomly vibrates with screen wake notification.

Hi,

My Ionic has all of a sudden started randomly vibrating and shows screen wake up notification on the screen. This happens for a while and then stops, only to do it again later. It started after I did an update to the app.

I have done the left button bottom right reset, changed the clock face a few times but it’s still happening.

I have read a few other entries and it seems there is no real fix from Fitbit other than an exchange? Or maybe someone has tried something that works?

Thanks a lot in advance

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the situation you are experiencing with Ionic vibrating randomly. Thanks for trying the restart steps in order to sort this out.

What specific notification is it showing on the screen? Could you share a picture of it? That way I can take a deeper look at it.

You could try a factory reset if this keeps happening to you too.

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

Hi Santi,

thanks for your reply. It’s the same issue many others have been receiving and have posted already. I’ve attached the screenshot. It is the screen you get when you press the left button for a few seconds. But this time it pops up randomly and the Fitbit vibrates.

I have also done a hard reset as your support suggested but that didn’t help. This all leads me to believe that no one seems to know what causes this problem. Which is a bit weird since many people have complained about it more than once.

Anyways, maybe you have a solution.

Thank you again.

I am getting a replacement for the watch.

Either Fitbit doesn't know what is going on, or they do and it's easier to just replace the watch. But if it's an issue, then a replacement might have it as well.

We shall see.

Thanks for all the feedback and input.

I am having the exact same problem. So there is no solution but to get the Ionic replaced?

Yes. There is an issue with the left button and the only fix is to have the watch replaced.
