Ionic screen glitch

My Ionic's display is glitching out. You can see there are little lines going down the display, it's turning different colors, and to add on to that there are green lines in the background and sometimes it just looks like it's melting all in to a bunch of lines.

Can anyone help me?

From personal experience now with two faulty watches In three years I found the so called solutions a waste of time. My advice is to log a support request, send it back for repair/replacement. These kind of faults seem to be reasonably common judging by the comments on their forum. However I have yet to find an explanation from Fitbit as to why this happens. Unfortunately lots of solutions but no explanations. Fitbit is a company that stands by its product and loyal customer base. Even if it is outside of the warranty period I am confident they would acknowledge that it is reasonable for a consumer to expect a device to function longer than 12 months or so. I have no doubt that the response you receive will be confirmation. Good luck.

Good luck,

They will send you a discount code. Didn’t have a fix for mine, and they still haven’t fixed the IOS issues of receiving text messages and stuff. I feel like the system support has been lacking in the last 24 months.

HI

I'm a user of the ionic which is a great product.

I have been following your conversation about fixing the glitching screen issue and I have to admit that I didn't get any chance.

I have to say that is more than glitching has sometimes I get a duplicate screen with a blurry colour on each side of the ionic.

to be straight forward, this is obviously a hardware issue but I need to know if you have a program to change the watch as I'm out of my first 12 months.

if yes, I would love to have the link to start the process.

if you don't have any. I would like to know what you do for faulty hardware.

thank you for your reply.

best regards

Stephane

Nothing I did helped. Unfortunately they just do not seem to be as durable
as we would like them to be. I love the watch, the features, and the
functionality, but with everyday wear they just dont stand up.

In the end, i found one for sale on craigslist, cheap. I will go with
something else next time.

I actually got a reply from Fitbit agent . I had the possibility to swap or getting a new one with 50% off.
i took the second option . I do like the ionic but if happens agains I will move on if I can find a better t

wearable focus on sport and health metrics .

thank you

Sorry. Gave up on the Ionic. Convinced it a manufacturing/design flaw. Threw the Ionic out. Bought a Versa 2 which lasted six months before it also failed. Have since received a replacement Versa 2. Was a process getting the warranty replacement. Suggest if your Ionic is out of statutory warranty you are out in for a fight. Look at Apple alternative or if cemented to Fitbit take your chances that they have resolved the issues.

Unfortunately, there is no fix. I tried several types of resets with no
success. If you contact fitbit and complain, they may offer you a discount
on a new one. That is what they did for me.

Wish I could give you better info..

My Ionic has been washing out with vertical lines for 2 days. I'm not able to see anything on my display. I have to check my phone app to know my steps count etc. I've tried to restart and change the clock face as suggested in this forum but it has not helped. I've had this since 2019 and I'm unsure how to fix it since its no longer in warranty. I would appreciate any advice and help in fixing this problem. IMG_20230707_094048.jpgIMG_20230707_094122.jpg
