Greetings to the community and to the support staff,
First some kudos - I received my Ionic as a present in 2017, and aside from buss every now and then I've been very satisfied. I love the design, and the features are satisfactory for a casually active person like myself.
Now, sadly, the Ionic screen is broken. I have no hopes of this FitBit ever working properly again, but considering it's worked fine for approximately 5 years I'm not too disappointed.
Now... I'm hoping there are some Ionics in store somewhere, as I'm no fan of the design on newer models. If anyone's got a hint as where to look for a replacement watch (unused), I would be happy for pointers.
Details on screen malfunction: screen seemed to have a shoddy connection for a while, blinking and behaving odd in general. The touch function also became very hard to use and buggy. Now the screen is constantly gone dark, with some brighter blue/purple along the edges when it's turned on.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

Thank you for your reply, Epson.
I've already tried restarting the Ionic several times, and it seems quite apparent to me that this is a hardware, not a software, problem.
I was guessing the Ionic was out of the shop now (although customer support told me the opposite). However, I was hoping you would perhaps be able to walk the extra mile here, and check whether you still had some in storage somewhere?
Just bought four(!) new armbands a month before the watch broke down, and I'd *really* appreciate any and all help here 🙂
Thanks in advance,
Tony

I like the Ionic too and think it's a shame they don't manufacture it any more.
Amazon is a good bet to find a new one and it's on their approved sellers list.
Oddly ebay isn't on their list but there are ionics on there too.

Thanks a bunch for the advice, Qonqr - I'll be sure to check it out (..unless the FitBit crew suddenly stumble upon an unshipped container or somesuch 😛 )
Also, agreed when it comes to the Ionic, and especially it's design imo. When I look at newer models I get a strong feeling I'm looking at something designed as a toy for children 😕
Thanks again for your reply Edson (and sorry I got your name wrong earlier). Other models are sadly not of interest to me, but thanks anyway.
I've already been in contact with support through chat, and got a feeling they weren't quite up to speed on all topics - that's why I turned to the (surprisingly active!) community.
If you, or other representatives, somehow get some info on stored away models somewhere, please don't be shy to get in touch 🙂
Sincerely,
Tony
