Ionic screen pixilation

I have an Ionic that I for as a Christmas 2018 gift.   A few days ago the wake/vibration started going off every few seconds randomly for about a day or so.  It has since stopped doing that but now the screen has some major pixilation and color distortion.   As far as tracking and syncing it seems to be working fine.  I've tried a few restarts on the tracker but no luck.  Any suggestions or anyone else run into this problem?     For the price I hope this thing isn't dyeing after only 18 months.
