Twice now I’ve been exercising on road bike, to find that the ionic has stopped recording/reporting the correct distance, time data. My data also get transferred to strava- this fully shows the correct routes taken, but only displays the incorrect data as recorded by the watc
What watch reports
What transferred to strava
Route as transferred to strava

I can't get any GPS info to download to exercise log on the Fitbit app, no maps, routes, distance....nothing. I do know the GPS works on the watch, just doesn't download.

So again ionic dropped or stopped distance data (today only lost 5km) but am losing confidence very quickly

I had this issue occur constantly with my Charge 2. Fitbit always lost my routes/connectivity but they always showed up on my Strava App. However; since getting my Ionic, routes show up on my Strava App consistently but nothing on my Fitbit App. I use the free version of the Strava App.

I had a transfer problem with GPS on a run and it wouldn't update the fitbit app with my run. I rebooted the ionic and now it appears to work fine. Might be worth a try if you haven't already.

I’ve been working with the Fitbit team trying to resolve this problem, they have advised me to carry out a reset - holding the back button (left) and bottom right together until the Fitbit logo appears, whilst this has resulted in a successful exercise event, I’m not sure if this means I’ve to do this every time I want to record a bike event - can’t say given the price of the ionic that I’m that happy to be doing the beta testing at this time. The battery life is nowhere near the 4 days initially indicated but I am using the gps every day.
