I truly like the concept of the Fitbit but am tired of the crappy quality! My wife has owned a charge (replaced once under warranty, an Alta (band broke within 3 months) and now has a Versa which acts up all the time and is showing unreasonable wear for only 5 months use. I have the 2 most expensive Fitbits being the surge (lots of problems and band fell apart in less than a year and now an Ionic which acts up almost weekly and shows unreasonable wear for less than 5 months use. Currently it is stuck in a factory reset and none of the advice on line works including the 3 button reset. I would love to add the picture of it that shows 16,777,73 steps (I thought I was having a great day...lol) but just like their trackers it doen’t seem easy to attach a picture like every other site. I shouldn’t have to know the source and dimensions?

I have had my ionic for almost a year, love it. My wife has Versa for 6 months, loves it. And she had the Charge 2 before that for over a year and loved it. Just my side of the story.

Well, another 9 months later I'm now stuck on a factory reset. I've tried everything to fix this .. stayed on the phone with the service desk. They only thing they could come up with was offering me a 25% discount because I'm out of warranty. $300 for a watch (I got it when it was new) and got a year and a half of use. And they could come up with nothing better than to buy a new fitbit? I think that I can do better buying a smart watch .. No way will I spend that much money for such a short lifespan of a product. I'm so disappointed in fitbit .. this seems to be a major problem with this unit and they suggest I buy another one?? Fool me once ...

Welcome to the Community @bigron452. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Ionic.
It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even though Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the quality of our products, comments from users are always useful to continue to improving the quality of products and services.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
