Ionic text message notifications, IPhone versus Android

Hi,

I just switched from an IPhone to an Android phone. On the IPhone I could have text message notifications form multiple Apps (WhatsApp, Messenger etc.), however on the Android it seems i can only select one App. 

 

Is this intended behavior? If so, what's the limitation on Android?
