My ionic died this morning what the hell.  Customer support cannot fix they will give you 40% credit towards a new one which to models on backorder.  Time to file a better business bureau complaint and consumer services complaint.

I have also experienced the same problems with my Ionic as well. There seems to be no solution to fix it.

Hey,

i have the same issue

my ionic went blank yesterday, tried all the reset options and charged it.

nothing worked apart from the watch kept vibrating and I couldn’t stop it until the battery went dead again.

i went and bought a New Ionic, and even that will not update and install on my phone. Tried it with WiFi and Bluetooth but keeps failing.

I totally agree, that’s exactly what it sounds like ! I’m so upset about this.

That factory reset is a farce! Fitbit should be ashamed of themselves! We (purchasers of ionic) purchased your so called "top of the line" product and all these complaints... And the same complaint 🤔 sounds like Fitbit ought to save face and just let us pay shipping and handling for our replacement watch and that is all! 😤😤🤷🏾‍♀

This is because of manufacturing issues! 🙄 And Fitbit know it! How could all of us be having the same on the highest priced watch? 🤷🏾‍♀ I'll tell you why, because we depend on those watches and they know it! So screw us with this issue by offering 25-40% off on a new defective Ionic!

I got a blue black screen after the factory  reset and while on the phone with customer service... I just think something went terribly wrong with this last update 😔

Sorry for the inconveniences some of you experienced with the Fitbit products and I want to thank all of you for the time you took to share your thoughts with us regarding our Ionic device and our Customer Support team, your feedback and comments always help us to improve our products and services. If any of you haven't already done so, please follow the steps from our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? which also include our restart process. Then, please try our factory reset process following the next steps:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

As a friendly reminder, you can always check our Returns and Warranty policies to understand better the response from our Support Team.for any warranty-related reply and contact them back if you have any additional questions in regards their replies and the outcome of your cases.

Fitbit knows EXACTLY what's going on!!! To save face, Fitbit ought to only charge for shipping and handling and send us ALL a replacement!!!! 😤😤😤🤷🏾‍♀

This definitely isn't a charging issue for me.  The app on my phone shows the battery was at medium when it stopped working yesterday morning.  The factory reset doesn't work.

@RicardoFitbit You didn’t address my next steps. There has been no mention of what the magenta triangle with the exclamation point means or what Fitbit is going to do about it. Please address this. Absolutely none of the troubleshooting measures work with this issue as I stated previously. I can’t even get a Fitbit logo with this magenta triangle popping up.

@RicardoFitbit I have tried the "fix" like 20 times! Fitbit has to KNOW that the "fix" isn't working! I tried the whole night to "fix" it... NOTHING works!

Yesterday evening my Fitbit ionic turned off - app told me the battery was dead even though it had a full charge in the morning. I tried to charge it - the screen did not turn on, I left it overnight and this morning it still won’t turn on. I have tried restarting and checking the charger cable (based on your trouble shooting guide) still will not turn on
