Ionic won’t charge

When I plug my ionic in to charge, it appears to be charging but it won’t budge off 0% charged and as soon as I unplug it goes off again

Hi @Dazzler1971   Have you tried restarting it several times? If not, give it a go and then try charging again. Also have a look at THIS Help Article on charging problems. Please come back if that does nothing to help.

Yes I’ve tried restarting by pressing the left and bottom right button together for 15 seconds but it won’t actually restart it just goes to the clock display which disappears after 15 seconds but then appears when I take my fingers off the buttons

When I connect the lead to charge it appears to be charging due to the movement on the battery indication icon. But regardless of how long I leave it charging it still shows 0% on the battery level and the turns off once I remove the charge lead.

Do you think it will help to reinstall onto my phone

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Ionic is not charging. Thank you for the time you spent trying to get it resolved. I noticed that you contacted Customer Support. I'm pretty sure they will do their best to find a way to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
