My Ionic won't sync with my iPhone SE and displays the wrong time. When I woke up today the time on my Ionic was 1hr 4min behind and now, 3hrs later, its 1hr 20 minutes behind. How can that be?? It also happened yesterday but when I synced it the problem was solved. Now I can't even sync it. The battery is full so that can't be the problem. I tried turning the tracker on and off, my phone on and off, the bluetooth on and off and I tried removing the Ionic from my bluetooth connections on my phone and from the Fitbit app as was suggested in this forum but now it won't connect to my phone at all so its pretty much useless. I can't sync it with my phone and on top of that it's showing complete nonsense time. Any help?

Syncing with Strava is not working either.

Ever figure this out? My watch battery died and it's been wrong ever since. Won't sync to the for..its 405a and watch is displaying 0141. Factory resetting is getting pretty old. Any other solutions?

A warm welcome to the Community @pillep, @ErikBM and @Stephajack1. Thanks for the troubleshoot that you've tried in order to fix the syncing issue you're having. I would like you to confirm you've followed this syncing procedure as mentioned in this article as this has worked for some others, as soon as your watch syncs the time will be updated.
If you're using your app, the first thing to check is making sure you have the latest app version which is 2.51 for iOS, 2.72.1 for Android and 2.29 for Windows. If your Ionic has been unpaired from your account, you need to set it up once again just remember to do it as an existing user.
Hope this helps!

For me the issues seemed to be that day only, except the dashboard which after some days not working in Internet Explorer, is now working again. In other browsers it worked all the time.
I have not done any changes as syncing typicall works fine with me.

I'm having the same issue, with an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy Note8). I've even tried a factory reset of the watch. Now it has been blinking the Fitbit logo for the last 30 minutes and is doing nothing.

How many times do I need to do this??????? 6 times later I’m returning this junk. Had problems with a different model after 9 months, thought it was probably due to sweat & it wasn’t water proof. WAY more problems with this ionic. Very unhappy customer,

Mine has been doing the same and when I reset my ionic it blinked for over 30 mins and then after ages it turned on. I have turned my bluetooth on and off, my phone on and off, the ionic on and off, the app is current, the fitbit itself is current, my phone is current (everything is up to date), I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, unpaired the fitbit from my phone, repaired it.... there is literally nothing else except pressing sync 15+ times until it syncs my steps, km's, calories etc but the time is still 1 hr and 1 min out. This is so annoying I have been in contact for the past week with fitbit via email and they've just been asking me to troubleshoot. I am to the point where I don't know whether to just chuck it in a draw and use my charge 2 again or take it back to the store I bought it. Has anyone fixed this issue with anything else other then what the original poster stated and what I wrote??

Oh that's not good Rick. I bought mine in December 2017 its still in Warranty although I am unsure if its covered under warranty for this fault. Considering it's a $339 watch here in Australia & I don't exactly have a tonne of money and saved up for this piece of crap to say I am disappointed is an understatement.

This watch is a lemon and Fitbit doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Wasting 5-7hours a week trying to sync this terrible device. This is the last Fitbit I'll ever buy.

I was having a similar problem with my Fitbit Ionic not updating as I travel around the country. I thought I could force the time zone to update by manually syncing, but it didn't help. I finally realize that I had an old version of the Fitbit App on my Galaxy Note 8. I updated the app the problem went away. It's a pain sometimes but after exhausting all logical paths it comes down to keeping the fitbFi app current on your phone. I hope this helps.
